Cast billets and blooms

Our cast billet and blooms come in an industry-leading variety of grades. These stainless-steel products are suitable for a variety of applications including feedstock for rolling wire rod or bar, as well as certain forging applications. The consistent surface, centerline, and cast quality ensure the highest performance.

We provide consistent high-quality and delivery reliability to a wide range of ferritic, austenitic, duplex, heat resistant, and precipitation hardening stainless steels.

Rolled and forged billets

Our rolled and forged billets come in a wide range of ferritic, austenitic, duplex, heat resistant, and precipitation hardening stainless steels. These are used in a wide range of forging applications such as flange forging as well as seamless tubes, and bar production.

The rolled and forged billets boast consistent high-quality in terms of surface, straightness, center line, and chemical composition.

Cast slabs

Our cast slabs come in a wide range of ferritic, austenitic, duplex, heat resistant, and precipitation hardening stainless steels with consistently high quality and delivery reliability. These products are utilized in both hot and cold rolling operations into coil, sheet and plate or used in the forging industry.

Our production also includes 300 mm thick slab, which reduces material wastage and costs in forging applications with precise shape cutting. Also, you are able to optimize the length of our slab to your needs, which reduces yield loss in forging and results on average in more than 10% in yield benefit.

Ingots

Our ingots come in a range of grades and used in both billet and forging applications. We also provide expert advice for forging and processing.

Outokumpu ingots are utilized for forging or rolled into large heavy billets and bars. Our ingots are produced by uphill teeming/bottom-filling into fixed sized molds.
