World-class mills with clear roles
Our Europe business area focuses on cost position and customer engagement building on our #1 market position. The target is to grow specialty grades sales, supported by new products and high-quality technical sales, and to strengthen commodity sales through improved cost competitiveness and stronger customer engagement. Our world-class mills form an integrated entity in which each mill has a clear, defined role in the production.
We have two integrated stainless steel mills in Europe, Avesta in Sweden and Tornio, Finland, that is close to our own chrome mine in Kemi, Finland.
