How using Outokumpu slab reduces yield loss in forging

Outokumpu’s 300 mm thick slab replaces ingots in certain applications and cuts precise shapes to minimize wastage (nesting). You have the possibility to optimize the length of the slab to your needs. Additionally, Outokumpu slab reduces yield loss in forging results and has a > 10% yield benefit.
